Cori works across genres, and can cut both scripted and documentary projects of varying tones. A graduate of UCLA film school, she specializes in irreverent comedy and stories of social justice. She was recently inducted into American Cinema Editors after an Eddie nomination for her work on My Next Guest with David Letterman (Netflix). Formerly an editor of HBO's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, for which she won a Peabody Award, she has also edited How To with John Wilson (HBO), Ziwe (Showtime), and dozens of other film and television projects. Her goal is to celebrate the complicated absurdity of being human.
Cori’s first feature documentary, BRUK OUT! premiered to a sold-out crowd at Sheffield DocFest in 2017, followed by screenings at the Brooklyn Museum, Alamo Drafthouse, and cinemas worldwide.
